Issued in 2017, this 50 Rupees coin honors Dr. Ruth Katherina Martha Pfau (1929–2017), the German-born physician affectionately known as Pakistan's Mother Teresa. She devoted more than five decades to combating leprosy in Pakistan and played a pivotal role in the country's successful fight against the disease.
